How to start
Listen to the matching rule, choose two cards, then tap the check. Early boards show the pictures; later boards ask you to remember where pairs are hiding. Some matches connect a friend with a thing rather than two identical pictures.
What your child practices
Matching by a rule, remembering locations, and counting pairs as groups of two.
Make it easier or try a challenge
A gentler start
Start with the open two-pair board. Compare the toy and its color before selecting both cards.
A little more thinking
For a hidden pair, name the remembered location before turning a card. After matching, show the difference between how many pairs and how many cards you found.
These are ways to support or extend play together. Your child can point, act, or explain; saying the answer aloud is optional.
Little hints & worksheet answers
What is the rule on this board: twins, matching details, or a friend and their thing?
For a worksheet, match its picture and age before opening a hint or answer.

Mix two pairs of socks and match them. Count the pairs, then count the individual socks. Cover the socks with paper to try a small memory game.
