Cookies & device storage

Some browser information helps an activity remember a setting. It should be clear what is stored and what happens when you remove it.

The current portal

The portal pages do not set advertising cookies or run third-party tracking scripts. Catalog filters are represented in the page address. There is no “Accept all” banner because this version does not offer an optional analytics or advertising service to enable.

We will update this notice if we introduce a new storage purpose or optional tracking service.

What some games store

Some games use localStorage or sessionStorage for sound preferences, progress, completed activities, or an in-progress puzzle. A game may also cache its own files on the device for offline use. Other games keep state only while open. Storage support differs by game.

Local storage is not the same thing as a cookie, but both can fall under device-storage rules. We do not treat the different name as an exemption from those rules.

Your device, your controls

In your browser’s settings, find site data for wondermaths.app and remove it if you want to clear stored information. The exact menu depends on the browser. Blocking storage may prevent a game from remembering its settings; clearing it can erase progress.

Saved PDF files are separate from site data. Delete those files using your device’s file manager if you no longer want them.

Guide blog and external sites

The WordPress Guide blog is a separate site and may have different functional cookies. Please read the privacy and cookie information on that site. Visiting a linked external site is governed by that site’s notice.

Questions

Read the privacy policy or contact us about storage or a privacy concern.

Saved worksheet marks

The worksheet desk saves drawing marks, selected answers, and undo history in this browser on this device. The keys begin with wondermaths.tablet.v1. They contain page identifiers, pen colors, drawing coordinates, and activity answers, not an account or a cross-site identifier. The drawing tools do not upload these marks.

Work stays until you remove it or clear this site’s browser data. Use “Remove saved work from this browser” in the worksheet tips to delete the saved copies. Clear page clears the visible marks and can be undone; it does not delete undo history. A picture you choose to download stays wherever you save it.

If browser storage is unavailable or full, the desk tells you to save a picture before leaving. Saved work does not move between devices.

Saved coloring pages

The coloring desk saves your colors, brush strokes, fill positions, and undo history only in this browser on this device. Its keys begin with wondermaths.coloring.v1. It does not upload your drawings or use an account.

Clear page can be undone and keeps undo history. In the coloring tips, choose “Remove saved colors for this page” to delete that page’s saved colors and history. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes saved colors. Saved work does not move between devices. A picture you download stays wherever you save it.

If saving fails because browser storage is unavailable or full, the desk asks you to download a picture before leaving.

Your place in a book

The reader saves the last page number and book revision only in this browser on this device. The keys begin with wondermaths.reader.v1. It does not create an account or send a reading history to the server.

Choose “Forget this bookmark” in the reader’s tips to remove the saved place for that book. Turning another page saves a new place. Clearing site data also removes bookmarks. Downloaded PDFs are separate files.

PDF download access

When you open your emailed download link, we store a signed access cookie named wm_download_access for up to one year, renewed when you return to the portal or use protected materials. It remembers access to PDFs and full parent e-books in this browser, so you do not need to enter your email again while it remains saved. The cookie contains no email address or child information and is not used to track activity. It is separate from newsletter consent. Clear this site’s cookies to remove access, or let it expire. Games, children’s books on screen, and tablet activities remain available without it. Full parent e-books use the same email access cookie.
