Help for grown-ups

How to start

Start with Copy the shelf. Look at each treasure and its cubby, then place the treasures in the matching spaces. In later levels, remember the arrangement after the model disappears.

What your child practices

Remembering what belongs where, comparing a model with a copy, and using positions such as top, bottom, and middle.

Make it easier or try a challenge

A gentler start

Stay with the first level, where the model remains visible. Name one treasure and its place together, then let your child place it.

A little more thinking

Before placing anything, point to the remembered locations. After checking, invite your child to show which location helped them remember the others.

These are ways to support or extend play together. Your child can point, act, or explain; saying the answer aloud is optional.

Little hints & worksheet answers

Which cubby did that treasure visit? Look at the row as well as the column.

For a worksheet, match its picture and age before opening a hint or answer.

Try it away from the screen

Draw six spaces in two rows. Put two large toys in different spaces, look together, then cover them. Use another grid to rebuild the arrangement and uncover to compare.
