How to start
Follow the shape's outline. Tap a stick and a side, or drag the stick into place. Build each required side, then check that the frame is closed.
What your child practices
Recognizing sides and corners, counting a boundary once around, and building a closed shape.
Make it easier or try a challenge
A gentler start
Start with the three-sided frame. Trace each empty side and place one stick at a time.
A little more thinking
Before building, predict how many sticks the outline needs. Afterward, turn a paper version and check whether the number of sides changes.
These are ways to support or extend play together. Your child can point, act, or explain; saying the answer aloud is optional.
