Before you begin
- Four pages, one per level — ages 2.5–3, 4, 5 and 6–7
- The youngest level starts with a simple pattern, not a rule to break
- US Letter, prints on plain paper
- A grown-up can read the directions aloud
- “Print at 100%” marked on every page
Print on US Letter at 100%. Check the ruler against the length printed on your page. Ages are a guide: pointing, talking, and trying together all count.

A little guidance
Say: “First find the odd ones. Then draw something that belongs and something that doesn’t.”
