Before you begin
- Four pages, one per level — ages 2.5–3, 4, 5 and 6–7
- US Letter, prints on plain paper
- The bigger objects are never the larger amount
- No timers, no sounds, no stickers
Print on US Letter at 100%. Check the ruler against the length printed on your page. Ages are a guide: pointing, talking, and trying together all count.

A little guidance
Compare each row by counting. If the amounts are equal, choose both. Ages 6–7 also works out how many acorns would make two groups equal.
Let your child show their thinking. Repeat a comfortable level or try the next one when they want a new challenge.
